Police Station Field Trip

Hailey's Girl Scout Troop took a field trip to the Police Station. They were very excited to be able to go inside and see everything that is involved in keeping people safe. The girls went to the dispatch room, the detective offices, and the parking garage. They were really excited to talk to a traffic officer (one of the girls took a breathalyzer...and passed), a crime scene investigator, and a patrol officer. Their tour was given by an officer in the gang unit, aka Chloe's Daddy.

The girls were able to pass through the back of a police car.

They were not able to go into the jail, but they could look through a window.

Hailey had a great time!

She really enjoyed getting to look in the front of a police car. She was amazed at all of the things inside...especially the computers.

This was a wonderful field trip that even included a goodie bag. Hailey can't wait to get her badge and add it to her vest!
