Our Newest Additon

I brought home a tortoise for the kids on Tuesday night. After visiting a couple pet stores and pricing everything out, we decided to give it back to the friend who gave it to me. I was surprised at how well the kids took the new. Of course, I had to assure Hailey that we could babysit it sometimes on the weekend. Unfortunately, I had already fallen in love with her! With a tank donation from a friend (thank you to everyone that offered) and a trip to the pet store by myself, we now have a new addition to our family.

She (we think) is so adorable, measuring in at only 1.5 inches by 2.5 inches. Sean went back to the pet store tonight to get some lamps that "look better" even though they cost more. We are not totally set on a name yet. Hailey wants "Bella" and we thought Haiden wanted "Big Jeff." It turns out he actually said "Big Jet" (he likes Little Einsteins). Sean and I kind of like that name better since she will never move as fast as a jet, and is far from big. Any suggestions?
