New Year's Eve

We went to our friend's house to celebrate New Year's Eve. It was a very kid-friendly party...we celebrated on New York time. The kids were very excited to watch the ball drop and ring in the New Year. I was happy to have them get to bed at a normal time...still in 2009!

Haiden loved the party favors.

I can't believe that my baby will be 3 soon!

Hailey had a fabulous time with all of her friends tonight. She will be 6 in one month!

Like father, like son.

Hailey did not want to admit that she was tired, but I think this picture proves otherwise.
HAPPY 2010 TO ALL OF OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!

Disney On Ice

We spent New Year's Eve evening at Disney On Ice. It was a really cute show that included Cars, Little Mermaid, Lion King, and Tinkerbell.

Our seats were up high, but right behind the rail. Hailey loved the seats we had.

Notice the hair...he wanted to look like Daddy! I came home from the gym to find his hair missing. At least I don't have to do his hair anymore.

This was Sean's favorite part. The cars were great!

Can't I ever just get one picture were the are both looking at the camera!

Some Guitar Time

The kids talked Daddy into letting them play their guitars this morning. They each got their own guitars as Christmas presents from Sean when I was pregnant with them.

Hailey is finally getting big enough to actually hold her pink guitar.

Haiden thinks he is pretty cool playing his blue guitar.

Happy Anniversary!

I can't believe this picture was taken 7 years ago. It seems like just yesterday! We have so much to be thankful for...so many blessings from God. Sean and I look forward to all that the future holds for us.

So Sweet!

Hailey got an Easy Bake Oven for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa. Unfortunately, she could not make anything with it until we got a light bulb from the store (the heat source). Sound familiar Mom? She was very excited to make her first cake today...white with sprinkles. Hailey is SO SWEET because she decided to make the cake for our neighbor. Her little friend next door broke his elbow jumping off of a chair and was at the hospital. She made the cake, decorated it, and then took it to his house. He was not home yet, but she gave it to his dad. What a girl! We made brownies for all of us to enjoy after dinner...they were surprisingly good.

Hailey is mixing up the batter.

Patiently waiting for the first layer to cook.

Mixing up the second layer of the cake.

The cake has to cool before you completely take it out of the oven.

Working on the frosting.

Hailey added some sprinkles to make it look better.

All done!

Great job Hailey...such a sweet girl!

A Visit From Hailey's Favorite Cow

Hailey went to church on Tuesday for the Christmas Reading of "The Tale of Three Trees." She was very excited when the Chick-fil-A Cow made a surprise appearance.

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Merry Christmas from the Chase Family.

This is our tree after Santa came.

This is our tree after Grandma, Grandpa, Grandma, Auntie, and Vince showed up. Grandparents are definitely better than Santa!

Hailey loves her Twinkle Toe Boots!

Wow...a fire-breathing dragon. Grandpa must have picked this one out.

Thank you Aunt Sybil and Uncle Hugh...she asks for this game every day!
Haiden was done with pictures by this time!

We bribed him with candy to get this picture.

The workbench from Grandma and Grandpa was a huge success!

Hailey even loves playing with it.

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. Our first stop was to see cousins from my side of the family. Hailey and Haiden had a wonderful time playing with cousins they do not see very often. Then we were off to Grandma Lynne's house to open presents. Hailey and Haiden are happiest when they are spending time with Brandon, Mady, and Alyssa! After dinner at Aunt Terry's, we went to church. God gave me an amazing Christmas present at the end of the service...miracles do happen if you pray hard enough.

Hailey loves her Mady. We could not ask for a better role model for Hailey.

Alyssa, Hailey, Mady, Brandon and Haiden. We look forward to one more next year!

Oops, where did Haiden go?

Paperoni...thank you Aunt Shannon and Uncle Jarred!

Haiden loves his Elmo SmartCycle game.

Gymnastics Barbie...thank you Uncle Scott and Aunt Nichole!

I think it is safe to say that Haiden likes his truck!

Merry Christmas Disneyland

We decided to go to Disneyland Wednesday night to see all the Christmas decorations. Our main goals were the Haunted Mansion and Small World. We love "The Nightmare Before Christmas" so we had to get to the holiday version of the Haunted Mansion. Small World was also changed for Christmas, so we braved the longest line I have ever seen! Fortunately, we did not have to wait at all for Pirates since we went on it during the fireworks.
