Dinner Drama

Here is a conversation from our dinner table tonight...

SEAN: "Eat your dinner...Eat your dinner...Eat your dinner...Eat your dinner!" (You get the point)
SAIGE: (her thoughts, of course) "Don't eat it all kids, I want the leftovers!"
HAILEY: "I'm full!"
HAIDEN: (holding an empty bowl) "All done Daddy!"
SEAN: "What is that on your tray?" (his dinner was dumped on the tray)
HAIDEN: (with sneaky eyes) "I don't know?"
HAILEY: (five minutes later) "I'm hungry. Can we get some ice cream?"
SEAN: "I thought you were full."
HAILEY: "Oh yeah."



The sad thing is that they both like what I made tonight. At least Haiden's food ended up on the tray instead of the floor. We go through this drama every night with Hailey unless she picks out dinner. I think it is just fun for them to drive us CRAZY!!!
