Hailey and I had a "girls day" this morning. I love Haiden to death, but he becomes a monster whenever I step foot into a store. This was making it very difficult to get Hailey shoes for school. (We love the Twinkle Toes, but they are a little too much shoe for some outfits.) Hailey and I made plans to get up early this morning and shop...just girls. She cracked me up when she came down the stairs in a dress, wearing sunglasses and lip gloss, carrying a purse. She is 5 going on 15! We went to the shoe store, Starbucks (Hailey had her first Vanilla Bean), Ulta, and Claire's. Mission accomplished! Hailey came home with two pairs of shoes, six pairs of earrings, a stand for her earrings, new sunglasses, a sunglasses case, and colorful strands of fake hair to use for dress up. We rocked-out to her new Miley Cyrus CD on the way home. I look forward to many more shopping trips with Hailey...NO BOYS ALLOWED!
