My Baby Girl Is Growing Up

We have offered to get Hailey's ears pierced many times. She always puts it off (she is not good with pain and fear). I offered to buy her anything in Claire's today if she was brave and got her ears pierced. We were shocked when she actually said yes.

You can see in her face that she is already stressing, and that is just a marker.

Hailey called her daddy to tell him the big news. I promised him that I would record the experience since he was missing "a huge event in his daughter's life." You can experience it too...

I don't think Hailey was very happy with me. I kind of told her that it was not going to hurt...oops. Eventually she stopped crying and decided that she looked beautiful. We are very proud of of brave little "big girl."
