Gingerbread Houses

We made gingerbread houses with a friend and her boys today. It is not the most beautiful house, but he kids had a good time. Haiden kept stealing the candy from the house!

Christmas Lights

We went to see Christmas lights on Monday night. It was VERY cold outside!

Hailey liked this because it featured Baby Jesus. She knows the reason for the season!

Big Boy Underwear

I took some really cute pictures of Haiden in his "big boy underwear" but I thought it was a little too creepy to post. He has been potty trained in a pull-up since Thanksgiving. Yesterday I decided to let him try regular underwear since he was doing so well. So far it has been a huge success. Thomas the Train stayed dry yesterday, even at the mall. Lightning McQueen is dry today, making it through church, Grandma's and a nap. I am so excited to be done with diapers!!!

Bass Pro Santa

We went to Bass Pro Shops today to visit Santa. My mom loved the background because it will look great at the cabin. I loved that my copy was free and we did not have to wait in line outside! Hailey and Haiden were so happy to see Santa. Haiden walked right up to him and said, "I want Rocky the Robot Truck." He was somewhat annoyed when Santa did not hand it to him right there. We are still working on the concept of when Christmas is. Fortunately, they both told him exactly what they told me. I made sure to remind them that they could not change their mind now that Santa knows what they would like. (Mommy is done shopping!)

They are both a little tired, but it is a cute picture.

We had some time to kill in the store. They enjoyed playing in the tree trunk and looking at all of the real (dead) animals around the store.

They both did a craft, but the store did not pick the best glue. I don't think their reindeer hats are going to make it.

It was amazing to be able to see a baby falcon so close. They were standing right in the center of the store by all the fish.

Hailey's 1st Awards Assembly

Hailey earned "Reader of the Month" back in September, but her school does one awards assembly per trimester. Sean and I were very excited to be able to watch her accept her award at the assembly on Friday. Two of Hailey's closest friends from class also got awards. She definitely knows how to pick friends!

These are all the kindergarten winners for 1st Trimester.

Hailey proudly showing off her key chain.
Hailey also earned a "Perfect Attendance" award!

I had to run back to work before 2nd period, but Sean was able to stay until the end. We are very proud of Hailey. She had a great 1st trimester, has wonderful friends, LOVES her teacher, and brought home an amazing report card! We are so blessed.

Too Cute

I came home from the gym last weekend to a "ta-da!"
Hailey and Haiden were very excited to show me that they switched pajamas.
I just love how Haiden is looking at Hailey. He adores his big sister!

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving today! The kids enjoyed watching me clean and "massage" the turkey this morning. They even got a little grossed out when I showed them the neck. All the disgusting prep work is well worth it when the smell of Thanksgiving dinner starts to fill the house.

I am so thankful to be able to prepare a tasty Thanksgiving meal for my family!

Haiden and Hailey loved the cute little hats I got for them at Target. There is another thing to be thankful for...the Target dollar section!!!

I am thankful that God blessed me with Hailey!

I am thankful that God blessed me again with Haiden!

The kids enjoyed looking at themselves in Grandma Lynne's lamp. They looked "funny."

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in my life. I hope that you take the time to thank God for everything you have in this world. Although Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to do this, remember to praise God daily...He deserves it!
